Memorial Lodge

            On May 3, 2003 we will have our wedding ceremony and reception at The Katherine Legge Memorial Park and Lodge (KLM).

There's a parking lot adjacent to the building; or if you're staying at the Wyndham Drake hotel, referenced on the lodging page, they offer a free shuttle to and from any location within 7 miles, including the Lodge.

The ceremony will be held outside,weather-permitting, on the grounds of the KLM Lodge. We've hired a violin duo to provide the music, and afterwards there will be cocktails and h'ors d'oeuvres. Following the cocktail hour will be dinner in the diningroom of the KLM Lodge.

The reception menu features a dual entree of a lemon herb chicken paillard with mustard sauce and London broil, with a rice dish and butter herb carrots. This also includes an salad with a oil and vinegar dressing and cinnamon wedding cake.

After dinner there will be a DJ and dancing in the second floor ballroom of the KLM Lodge.

After you go home...
Now that we have a date for the wedding, the most common question asked of us is "Where are you going on your honeymoon?" Now we have an answer! We are going on a Carnival cruise out of New Orleans to Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula for five days, and afterwards we plan on spending an extra couple days in New Orleans learning to practice voodoo (just kidding). It should be an adventure, since neither one of us have ever taken a cruise before. Break out the Dramamine!
